Pirelli | Spining The Wheel

In 2014 I travelled to Milan, as one of Pirelli's Top 10 Young Global Talents, to contribute to the Pirelli Annual Report. The aim was to tell the story of the company in a creative way, alongside the numbers and technical texts that characterise financial reports.
School of BEES |Culture Night

In 2013 I co-coordinated the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences Culture NIght event. Heading up a large team of researchers we opened up the doors of the School and provided tours and interactive exhibits, and facilitated direct conversations between researchers and the public.
Colaiste Iosagain |STEAM Education

II am science teacher on "Science in a Box." This is an education initiative to bring science into the primary school classroom, and to facilitate co-teaching with primary school teachers to develop the science curriculum. A wide range of topics is covered through fun experiments, games and activities.
An Evening on Climate Change |UCC

In January 2014 the Environmental Protection Agency and the Environmental Research Institute in UCC hosted An Evening on Climate Change. The event was open to the public and was exceptionally well attended with a full capacity audience of over 300 people. The possible links between climate change and the storms and floods which occurred in late December/early January led to widespread media coverage for the event on both national and local media including RTE 1 News, Newstalk FM, Today FM, RTE 1 Morning Edition, Irish Times, Irish Independent and Irish Examiner. During the course of the evening I presented a 12 minute snapshot of the multidisclinary climate change research at UCC and hosted a Q+A session betwen researchers and the public.
